Scraping & Sync Pipeline

Node.js, Puppeteer, Chrome Extension

Automates a repetitive data-entry workflow across several systems, from crawling source sites to submitting records and tracking their status.

  • Crawls German and Austrian source websites with Puppeteer
  • Chrome extension for manual capture when headless automation isn't enough, with the backend handling validation and transformation
  • Submits records to third-party platforms in batches of up to 10
  • Syncs status over email and saves about 10 minutes of manual work per run

About

I'm a backend engineer who gravitates to integration work: the seams between systems where data gets lost, duplicated, or quietly dropped. E-commerce backends taught me reliability under real money, and automation pipelines taught me to make failure visible. I write TypeScript and Node.js services now, and my PHP and Magento years mean I've already made most of the mistakes once.
